- Tim teaches the topic and demonstrates the first sections on camera, with a close-up angle on his hands.
- You cut the same sections on your own mannequin during a timed work block.
- You show your work to the camera and Tim gives live, personalized corrections.
- Repeat through each section until the cut comes together.
A class host manages the room, the timer, and the questions — so Tim stays focused on teaching and you stay focused on cutting.

A reliable internet connection and a way to angle your camera toward your mannequin station are required.
To keep the experience valuable for everyone, there are a few simple requirements:
- You’ll need your camera on, with your mannequin in frame, during the cutting and correction segments — that’s how Tim gives you feedback.
- Each registration is for one individual stylist and one mannequin. Tickets are non-transferable and may not be shared. Group viewing on a single screen is not permitted.
- Seats are admitted by name from the Zoom waiting room, so please register under the name you’ll join with.
THIS IS A HANDS-ON, CAMERAS-ON CLASS
SETTING YOURSELF UP FOR SUCCESS
A little setup goes a long way in a hands-on virtual class. Here's how to get the most out of your session:
- Use a laptop or tablet if possible. A larger screen makes it much easier to follow Tim's hands, sectioning, and techniques. (A phone works too if that's your only option!)
- Set your device at counter height. This allows you to watch Tim and work on your mannequin comfortably at the same time.
- Make sure you and your mannequin are well lit. Natural light in front of you or a ring light aimed at your mannequin works best so Tim can clearly see your work during corrections.
- Minimize background noise. Find a quiet space and mute when you're not speaking to help keep the class focused and running smoothly.

While each class can absolutely be taken on its own, this training was intentionally designed as a 4-part series. Each class builds upon the previous one, allowing you to develop a deeper understanding of Tim's cutting philosophy, techniques, and approach over time.
If you're looking for the most comprehensive learning experience, we highly recommend attending the full series. However, if there's a specific technique, haircut, or skill level you're focused on right now, you're welcome to enroll in the individual class that best fits your current goals.
You can, but we highly recommend using a laptop or tablet if possible. A larger screen makes it much easier to follow Tim's hands, sectioning patterns, and techniques throughout the training.
No. Each registration is valid for one stylist and one mannequin only. Tickets are non-transferable and may not be shared, and group viewing on a single screen is not permitted.
Yes! During the entirety of the class, you'll need your camera on with your mannequin visible in the frame. This allows Tim to observe your work and provide real-time feedback throughout the training.
